Born and rasied in Montauk, Austin learned to surf on the beaches of Ditch Plains. Surfing is his life, his passion, his world. After a long career of surfing and traveling the world, he’s made his way back home to set up shop with his three beautiful children, Jolie, Jude, and Reese, back on the beaches where it all started. Giving back to his community and spreading his love and joy for the ocean through Austin’s Surf LLC, he takes great pride in teaching and growing with every individual he walks into the water with….

Rooted in Montauk, Joe calls the trailer park at Ditch Plains home—a place where the ocean sets the rhythm of everyday life. A commercial fisherman by trade, he works aboard the local tilefish boat Kimberley, spending long days offshore in pursuit of his catch.
When the season winds down, he follows the water south, traveling the world in the winter months—often to Nicaragua—where surf, sea, and simplicity keep him grounded. A true waterman in every sense, his life is shaped by tides, hard work, and a deep respect for the ocean.
